Zachary Watts – Bass

A member since 2007, Zach lays the groundwork for Vocal Chaos with his sultry and permeating bass grooves. A native of Jasper, Texas, Zach attended MIT for computer science, and sang with both the Chorillaries and Welsley Tunes.  For the past 5 years, Zach has called the loop home, and has won the hearts of A Cappella enthusiast and bartenders alike.  By day, Zach writes trading algorithms, but his true passions lie in the mystical and captivating realm of the creative.   With an acutely honed taste for red wine and music, Zach is a quintessential asset to the group.

Dave Nadolski – Tenor

David “Crusty” Nadolski has been entertaining his entire life… just look at him. But seriously folks, David has been working with Argosy University Schaumburg as Assistant Director of Admissions for a little over two years now and has now become Undergraduate Academic Advisor. Having taught public speaking, communication and competitive speech and debate for the last 7 years at three different community colleges including CLC, Roosevelt, and now Harper! David received his Masters of Communication at Minnesota State University, Mankato (despite the fact that everyone there thought he was getting his degree in music because he traveled to Europe with the choir, and won the open division state championship of the National Association of Teachers of Singing) and his BS in Organizational Communication at Western Michigan University (where he became a member of the men’s musical fraternity Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia). David is a graduate of The Second City Conservatory for improvisational comedy in Chicago. He is a man among men and a tester of international cheeses. I highly recommend David for this singing position in your ears. Thank you.

Blair Baldwin- Tenor/Rhythm

With a cappella harmonies coursing through her veins, Blair is Vocal Chaos’ first female performer and the group’s current musical director.  Originally from the great state of North Carolina, she studied dance and piano, as well as directed the UNCG all-female group,The Sapphires.  She moved to Chicago to attend Columbia College, where she got her degree in Live and Performing Arts Management.  She currently lives downtown and spends her days writing songs, arranging, and appreciating Pinot Noir.

Eric Fenton – Tenor

Eric Fenton is the proud father of Natalie Mae and husband of Kristen Marie. Born in New York City and educated in both Chicago and Los Angeles, Eric began in theater back in 5th grade. He continued developing his voice throughout junior high, high school and college, at which point he took about an 8-year break before joining Vocal Chaos as a first tenor. On the side, Eric runs his own full time social enterprising college and career readiness business. He considers it a privilege to perform with Vocal Chaos.

Steve Moore – Baritone

Steve is from Connecticut and went to UNC-Chapel Hill where he sang with UNC’s coed group, The Tar Heel Voices (THV), for four years.   After college, he spent 8 years in LA and in 2006 became a member of the Director’s Guild of America as a 2nd Asst. Director.   He has credits on films like Transformers, The Bucket List, Hangover 2, Role Models, & more.   He also dreams of filming an a cappella movie (he directed a teaser which you can see here: www.YouTube.com/user/VoiceMaleMovie)   Steve came to Chicago in the fall of 2011 and is happy to have become a part of Vocal Chaos.

Eric Spiegel – Bari/Bass

Hailing from central New Jersey (not the smelly part, and not the Jersey Shore), Eric Spiegel is pleased to be singing with an a cappella group once again. Eric currently teaches middle school general music in Northwest Indiana, and holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Miami (Florida), where he founded the all-male a cappella group Above The Keys. As a performer, Eric has toured internationally with various concert choirs, and has also sung with jazz vocal groups, and even a salsa ensemble. He is a die-hard New York Mets fan (unfortunately), and in his free time, enjoys exploring his new home city of Chicago, and playing ping-pong, ukulele, and mandolin
